whatever you perceive the world to be because that is your own perception.

When my daughter Sharon was about 2years old we took her to visit my mother at her apartment. We taught her to call out my mother's name when we knocked at the door. We were met with a furious and angry grandmother ! According to her perception it was rude and disrespectful to call your elders by their names. She was right according to her perceptions.

According to my perception I would be delighted to know that my grandchildren know my name. I am of course right according to my perception.

So whatever you perceive the world to be you are right ! But do try to see what are the perceptions of others around us. Only then can we moderate our own perceptions. Got it ?
