I'm very sorry I haven't written in a while. As I mentioned in my previous post, I've been suffering from an extreme case of writer's block. Some of you may have missed me and others could give a rat's ass but I'll try to keep you entertained. In case you were wondering though, I've been busy working my ass off for Coca Cola. The people have been buying like crazy and keeping me working long hours. PD has been doing the same for the Police Department. It seems the month of August all hell broke loose. Sadly one of the things PD had to dispatch Lincoln City's finest to was the Schooner Creek Bridge where The Lawn Gnome...this homeless dude that had been hanging out in front of Burger King(we called him that because of his resemblance to a lawn gnome...long white beard, rosey red cheeks, a pointy hood)...had died under there. His presence will be missed(as creepy as it was with him just standing there at the exit of the drive-thru). Don't get mad at me, Gary, it was kind of creepy. They don't know if he had any next of kin. It would be sad if no one claims him. Everyone needs to be remembered. A moment of silence for Lawn Gnome.......................................OK, where was I? Oh yeah...a prominent Lincoln City city councilman was arrested for harassment, menacing, and battery of his wife, children, and mother-in-law. Not even a day after he was released on bail, he was arrested again for violating a restraining order(he claimed he was visiting a friend that lived close by and didn't realize the address he drove near was on that restraining order. What a dumbass.) Labor Day is coming up and I'll be busy this weekend. I usually have Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays off but next week I have to work because a co-worker decided to take that week off(I was told by my boss that the week before and after Labor Day was blacked out so I didn't even dare to ask for time off. In fact any holiday that's the case.) As you can tell I'm a little miffed because when I tried to take a couple days off to go to my niece's graduation(which was a few days after Memorial Day) I was denied. Oh well...I guess I don't rate. Wow, I guess I got over my writer's block. Now I ran out of things to say. Until next time.
