A while back I found an auction on ebay for some Japanese antibacterial yarn. Me, being the kind of person who collects the strangest yarn I can find, couldn't resist, because it was so cheap and despite the fact it was being sent all the way from South Korea.

You'll have to forgive me the quality; all I have at the moment is the camera on my cellphone.
Apparently, this yarn is popular in Japan for washcloths and bath poofs, due to the fact that it's antibacterial. All
I know is that it's very thick, and is going to require sharp needles to work with. It's in these super small skeins - very tiny, you see - and I'm not entirely sure what to do with it. I have cotton for washcloths and soap sacks, if I so desire.
I was thinking, maybe, of making a rainbow-striped makeup bag from them. Adding a zipper afterward would be easy-peasy, but I'm not entirely sure yet. I do, really, need a makeup bag that's more me, as the one I'm toting around was bought from a store where everything is a dollar, and it's just...Kind of eh, to be honest.
I mean...I know it's not the prettiest yarn, but it's different, right? And soft. I just can't imagine making a poof out of it, with the way acrylic feels when it gets wet. It'd feel...Well, kind of like a wet dog.
This is what I get for impulse yarn purchases. I know it is.
