Craft Market Stall 2011 to 2016

Every Sunday I go to the local craft market to sell my wares. Last Sunday was so blustery cold I was wishing I could dip into my stock for a toque, gloves and a warm pair of socks. I take my spinning wheel, Grunhilda, and spin away the hours. In July and August there are lots of tourists with whom I chat and demonstrate spinning. I've been attending the craft market since it first began in 2011, making this my sixth year. I find it peaceful and relaxing and will probably continue to be involved with it until my dear, sweet husband can/will no longer help me set up and take down.

Early days at the Craft Market, 2011.

Bought a gazebo and found a big pink sheet to cover the table later on in 2011.

Put up a sign and added a card table in 2012.

Bought a six foot folding table, made a bigger sign and added fabric shower curtain walls to block the sun in 2013.

I bought a second six foot table, purchased a new sign and table coverings in 2014. It was a very good year.

Got rid of the leaking, all but useless gazebo in the summer of 2015.

I'm done. I don't need to add anything. I'm just going to sit back and sell in 2016.

2 questions. Why is that beautiful shawl still available, and why are the prices on your etsy site in Norwegian krone?

That's not the same shawl. It's a good seller so as soon as one sells I set out another. I've never seen Norwegian krone in my Etsy shop. It's set to USF.

Really great photos. Your booth looks amazing. Good luck with the season. I don't see the spinning wheel in the photo. You look adorable.

You can see the top of my spinning wheel just to the right of my chair in 2014. In 2013 you can see the curve of the wheel and the mother of all peeking above the table, in front of my chair. Thanks.
