Pouring with Rain

It was a dark and stormy day. The wind was blowing the trees into weird angles and making the recycling bags fly around like they were alive, chasing each other. The vines and shrubs tapped and thumped against the house walls and windows. The black clouds emptied themselves onto the land; thundering on the road and rapping at the windows. The swoosh of car tires on the pavement outside indicated to those just awakening what kind of weather was awaiting them.
The dog was let out into the back yard and she didn't return to the back door. She curled up into a ball of husky, her nose tucked under her tail, exposed to the elements. She seemed to be enjoying her bout with nature and didn't come in when called.
I, on the other hand, stayed indoors and watched the storm.

My dog on the other hand needs strong encouragement to go outside in the rain. When he comes back in and after I wipe his wet feet, he leaps around and barks with happiness. I think I know how he feels.

A storm can be rather cozy if your on the inside looking out, ( now where did I put those candles?) Strange how dogs don't mind the rain, but they hate a bath.

Bless her little dog heart. I think you should take her tent camping in some deep snow sometime, dress warm.

I am a BIG fan of storms.

As long as I am on the inside looking out.

I can imagine the Husky going aaahhh with sublime-ness.

It rained?
Glad to see you're enjoying your final, fleeting moments of freedom.
