I like my new job, and I am learning new stuff every day which is awesome. I love to be challenged and I like to learn and grow through my career. In any event, its strange, I have already developed some good work relationships with some co workers. Not so much with my boss, because he's been super busy. This is ok, because we don't have a "bad" relationship, it just hasn't been developed yet.
I was talking with a co-worker yesterday or the day before and she was asking my advice on on-line education. I told her that I was a big fan of one university system which is local here that I had applied to go to MBA school at. Today, she is applying there. I am happy that I could advise her to do that and that she's gonna complete her Bachelors. Her goal is to do it so she can make her daughter go to school, which is a great thing to do. Its funny because I never thought of a person's child making them want to be a better person.
In any event, things are going well with the new job. I am adjusting to not having a pet. I do miss him immensely and I still carry a tremendous amount of guilt around.
My birthday with Kristy was fabulous. We had a great time at the wineries, and I called it a night early. I fell asleep on the couch and Fungi brought me some cake. Apparently I nodded my head to him that I wanted cake, but I don't remember this interaction. He was amazing for my birthday and I am SOOO happy with him. Someone asked me this week, "Is he really that good?" My response was "Yes, he is, he's AWESOME!"
